The Network Residency is a virtual program designed to support Black artists who m/other. With 150 members across 17 states and 23 cities, the program connects artists through skillshares, exhibitions and career development opportunities. Residents receive an honorarium, childcare support, professional guidance, and opportunities for collaboration and engagement.

The Home Residency offers Pittsburgh-based artists a unique 12-week opportunity to nurture their practice from the comfort of home. By eliminating the need to travel, this program invests in the artist's well-being, providing time, resources, and support for creative exploration in familiar, domestic spaces. Previous residents include Sarah Huny Young, Lakeisha Wolf, and Mary Martin.

The Visiting Artist Residency invites national artists to Pittsburgh for one year of creative exploration, collaboration, and radical support. Artists receive an unrestricted honorarium, exhibition opportunities, access to Pittsburgh arts organizations, and resources. Previous residents include Amber Doe (Contemporary Craft), Melike Konur (Atlantic Center for the Arts), and Renée Cox (Carnegie Mellon).

Residency Xchange supports Black artists who m/other through cross-city exchanges centered on care, knowledge, and cultural practice. Artists engage new communities while sharing survival strategies, ideas, and ancestral memory. The program builds a supportive, cross-regional network beyond traditional institutional frameworks. 2025 artists include Dail Chambers (St Louis) and Shani Peters (New Orleans).

Special Projects provide flexible support for Sibyls Shrine Network artists pursuing opportunities outside standard programs. This initiative enables self-directed growth through funding for travel, training, childcare, resting and other necessities. Past support includes travel support and childcare for Anqwenique Kinsel’s CLAZZ residency in Italy, sponsorship for Suhaly Bautista-Carolina’s 3rd Urbalist Earth Day, and financial assistance for Marietta Altenor’s Sacred Vibes spiritual herbalism apprenticeship.

Residency Intensive places Sibyls Shrine artists at partner organizations across the U.S., offering space, support, and connection to advance their practice and life. Past residents include Joyell Arvella & JD (Frick Environmental Center), Britney Smith (Contemporary Craft), Felicia Savage Friedman (Atlantic Center for the Arts), and Olivia Guterson (Pittsburgh Playhouse).
